Taylor the Planet Slayer

The to 1% are responsible for most of the earths emissions.

As a role model for the youngest people in our global community, Taylor has a duty to set an example to those who follow her music. Using a private plane as though it is a taxi has an enormous carbon footprint.

Flying in a private jet for a single hour can release more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than the average person produces in a year, according to  Professor Stefan Gossling, from Sweden’s Linnaeus University.

Private jets emit more than 33m tonnes of greenhouse gases each year – more than the country of Denmark. Their slight passenger loads mean that they are five to 14 times more polluting than commercial planes per passenger, and 50 times more polluting than trains. Just 1% of the global population are responsible for 50 percent of all emissions associated with flying.

Private Jets must be a thing of the past, a relic of a decadent era.
