We live in a globalized prison civilization with chronic war all over the undeveloped world.
We have a few decades of peace in the midst of centuries of warfare.
A working class person exchanges hours of work in order to live in a small prison cell apartment. Throughout the working day the employee is under scrutiny from the surveillance technologies be they tachographs (a card is a smart card used by commercial vehicle operators to legally record driving time, work, breaks, and rest periods)or hand held scanners at an Amazon warehouse or surveillance monitoring of the office computer.
Hyper exploitative civilisations denude their surrounding areas and make continuous war against countries that have resources that have resources in abundance. Chronic war and unending ecological destruction go hand in hand with the civilizational project.

The invention of agriculture was a horrific mistake which lead to the creation of the state, class structure, large scale war, industrialization, catastrophic ecological disasters and general lack of freedom at an individual level.
The modern global experiment can only end in one colossal failure, which will be globalised and on an industrial scale. What will this look like? Changing weather patterns that upturn the Goldilocks weather patterns that have kept our surface temperatures stable for millions of years. Our very brief population explosion will decline faster than it rose due to unstable and unpredictable weather patterns disrupting global agriculture. Large scale resource wars for dwindling resources. Out of control technological progress. With no breaks or safeguards the technology will overrun and dominate all aspects of our society leading to autonomous A.I driven killing machines – armies mass produced be they terminator style robots or swarms of kamikazi drones levelling cities.
In the end our success will be our failing ending our global domination. We will join the dinosaurs in the annals of history.
